FILLER
Dermal fillers are injectables designed to be used under the skin to either hydrate, plump, lift out medium to deep wrinkles/grooves, or to restore volume loss to the deeper parts of the face. Some dermal fillers are also used to sculpt and contour the face with aims to restore a youthful and balanced profile.
The dermal fillers we use at For Beautiful Life are Hyaluronic acid-based fillers which are considered the safest and most trusted fillers available on the market today. These fillers are biodegradable and give the most natural results possible. Filler antidote (hyaluronidase) is also available at our practice in rare cases that fillers need to be dissolved for either aesthetic or corrective reasons.
Hyaluronic acid Is a natural sugar molecule readily available in our skins that acts as a collagen matrix and one of its sole purposes is to hydrate the skin. These fillers we have come to know are produced through bacteria and not human or animal-derived in any way. For this reason, no skin testing is needed prior to treatment and virtually no allergies or reactions are anticipated.
Dermal fillers are often combined with Botulinum toxin to treat the ageing face holistically. The rejuvenation of the upper and lower parts of the face with injectables are commonly referred to as the ‘Liquid Facelift’. By using combination treatment, the best, most natural treatment outcomes are possible and possible surgery could be postponed or eliminated completely.

At for Beautiful Life, we only make use of the most premium fillers available. They have been chosen based on the scientific research available, the duration of these fillers being on the market and safety profile established. You will have a wide range of fillers at your disposal from ranges Juvederm and Restylane. You can expect these fillers to last anything from 8 to 18 months.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING MY TREATMENT
Different fillers indicated for different outcomes are available. These outcomes differ from patient to patient and no single treatment is standard for everyone. Upon consultation, your physician will tailor a treatment plan specific to your needs together with a cost estimate that would suit your budget and availability needs.

Topical Anaesthetic will be applied for 20-30 minutes before your treatment to make it as comfortable as possible. In selective cases, a local anesthetic will be injected to numb the area treated.

Depending on what areas are treated, treatment can take up to an hour.

Side effects include:

-
Redness in areas worked on
-
Mild swelling
-
Possible bruising (minimized with the use of a cannula)
After every treatment, your physician will sit down with you to discuss post-operative instructions to make sure your healing is at optimal levels. A follow-up treatment will be scheduled in 7 to 14 days when the product has settled, and your tissues have healed.
